SAFAL- Skill Academy for Appropriate Livelihoods facilitates programs that lead to sustainable and viable livelihood opportunities which improve the quality of life amongst the rural and urban lower income groups.
An initiative started in 2005 March, SAFAL focuses its energies on making available vast knowledge and skill bases that can help ingrain a degree of proficiency and expertise amongst low income groups. In doing so the team succeeds in not just bringing about evident changes in their income levels but also helps provide a sustainable and equitable solution that creates all round development.

Is to provide gainful, equitable and sustainable livelihood opportunities to low income groups. We aim to contribute towards the mission by developing sustainable livelihood opportunities through skills, community development, networking information & connectivity.

SAFAL’s vision is to alleviate poverty and contribute towards the social and economic development of the Country.
SAFAL’s trains in new economy skills to enhance employ ability and income of youth between the age group of 18-25 years
SAFAL has succeeded in catapulting the income and quality of life of over 15,000 people across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Punjab.
Young people improve their economic sustainability through improved vocational skills in construction, retail, hospitality, white goods, non-farm activities. SAFAL facilitates employment in the nearby areas to the trained candidates.
Micro-enterprises:
Encourages to set up micro, small & group enterprises leading to sustainable livelihood opportunities. The focus here is to build the specific skills and support entrepreneurs to run their enterprises profitably. SAFAL helps the entrepreneur in value addition, pricing, marketing and promotional activities leading to a successful organisation.
